Who Attends

If you are serious
about the future of law —
this page is for you.

CLS convenes legal leaders, institutional decision-makers, academics, and emerging voices from across the global legal community. The programme is built around the questions that matter most to those shaping — and those preparing to shape — the direction of law.

Who This Is For

The people whose
decisions shape
legal systems.

Chief Justices and judiciary  — from Caribbean, Commonwealth, and international courts
Managing partners and law firm leadership  — from regional and global firms
General Counsel  — from financial institutions, multinationals, and public bodies
Regulators and policy architects  — from regulatory bodies, ministries, and multilaterals
Legal academics and deans  — shaping the next generation of the profession
Multilateral representatives  — from development banks and international governance bodies
Rising practitioners and emerging leaders  — committed to the institutional questions defining the profession's future

“More important than title is the nature of the responsibility you carry.”

CLS is designed for legal professionals operating at the intersection of law, governance, and institutional responsibility — those whose decisions carry systemic consequences and who rarely have a dedicated forum to address them.

If you are navigating AI adoption, institutional trust, regulatory complexity, or the limits of human judgment under pressure — at an institutional level — this is the room that was built for you.

If you are ready to be part of the conversation, pre-register now and secure your place at CLS 2027.

What to Expect

Three closed-door days.
One deliberate room.

I
Closed-Door Working Sessions

Every session is private. No passive attendance — structured for resolution, dialogue, and genuine exchange. Operated under the Chatham House Rule.

II
Cross-Jurisdiction Dialogue

Participants from 30+ jurisdictions. The exchange of experience across courts, regulators, and governance bodies that does not happen in conventional settings.

III
Intentional Convening

The composition of the room is as deliberate as the programme. Who is there matters as much as what is on the agenda.

IV
Barbados — February 2027

A setting chosen for institutional weight, not hospitality. Three days removed from the jurisdictions delegates are responsible for — designed for serious work.

The Process

How pre-registration
works.

I
Submit your details

Complete the short form on this page. We ask for your role, organisation, jurisdiction, and what brings you to CLS. That is all.

II
Early access confirmed

You will receive programme details, speaker announcements, and session information ahead of general release — delivered directly to your inbox as CLS 2027 takes shape.

III
Priority registration

When full registration opens, pre-registrants are notified first and given priority access to secure their place. Delegate fees, programme details, and logistics are shared at that point.

Why Pre-Register

“CLS is a limited gathering in a specific place, built around a specific set of questions. Pre-registering is how you signal that you intend to be part of that conversation — and how we ensure you are first in the room.”

Pre-Register

Five questions.
That is all we need.

We keep the form short deliberately. A few details are all we need to get you set up and ensure you receive the right information ahead of CLS 2027.

The one open question — “What brings you to CLS?” — helps us understand what you are looking to take from the summit and personalise your pre-registration experience.

Pre-registration confirms your early access and priority place in the queue when full registration opens. Delegate fees and logistics are shared when booking opens. All information submitted is treated with complete discretion.
CLS Activations Series

The Activations Series is how CLS operates between summit editions — open sessions, closed salons, and institutional workshops in Barbados throughout 2026. The first activation is now open for registration.
