CLS Activations Series

A year-round series.
Building toward
the summit —
and beyond it.

CLS is not only a flagship summit. The Activations Series is how CLS operates between editions — building relationships, advancing the agenda, and widening the circle of institutional participation.

What This Is

Not side-events.
A second layer
of the platform.

The flagship summit convenes once a year. But the forces reshaping legal systems do not pause between editions. The CLS Activations Series is the mechanism through which CLS operates continuously — through closed salons, institutional workshops, and next-generation dialogues.

Each activation is deliberately small. Deliberately serious. Designed to produce the kind of dialogue that only happens when the right people are in the right room — without an audience, without a programme to perform for.

The series serves a second purpose: it builds the trust, relationships, and institutional legitimacy that make the flagship summit possible. Every activation is a step on the same ladder.

The Three Tracks

Three formats.
One continuous
programme.

Each track is designed for a different audience and purpose — but all three feed the same institutional agenda. Together they form a year-round programme that compounds in value with every edition.

01
Executive Salons

Closed-door dialogues for senior institutional leaders.

Small, closed-door gatherings of 20–40 judiciary, managing partners, general counsel, and policymakers. Topics drawn directly from the summit agenda. No audience. No performance. Just the conversation the profession needs to have.

  • AI and the Future of Legal Judgment
  • Institutional Trust Under Pressure
  • Governance, Ethics and Decision-Making
  • Regulatory Design in a Complex World
02
Institutional Workshops

Co-hosted with partner organisations and Bar Associations.

Practical, applied sessions co-designed with institutional partners — Bar Associations, regulatory bodies, regional institutions. Built around the specific questions facing the partner's membership. The natural entry point for institutional co-investment in the CLS platform.

  • Barbados Bar Association workshops
  • Regulatory leadership roundtables
  • Governance and institutional resilience
  • Legal system design and reform
03
Next Generation Activations

Widening the circle. Building the pipeline.

Sessions designed for law students, young lawyers, and emerging civic leaders. Connects the next generation to the institutional questions that will define their careers — and connects CLS to a broader constituency than the flagship summit alone can reach.

  • Young lawyers leadership forums
  • Law student civic dialogue series
  • Emerging legal minds roundtables
  • Youth justice and governance labs

Express Interest

Two ways
to be part of
the series.

Whether you are an individual who wants to attend, or an institution that wants to host or partner — we want to hear from you. All activations are small. A personal response is guaranteed.

For Individuals

Attend an Activation

Express interest in attending a salon, workshop or next-generation session. You will be contacted when a relevant event is forming.

Which track interests you?
For Institutions

Host or Partner on an Activation

If your organisation is interested in co-hosting or partnering on a CLS activation — a workshop, salon, or next-generation forum — tell us what you have in mind.

For Institutions

Underwrite or co-host
an activation.
The conversation
starts here.

A limited number of organisations are invited to underwrite or co-host activations in the 2026 series. This is not sponsorship in the conventional sense. It is institutional partnership — co-designing something that matters, with the people who matter most in the profession.

Bar Associations, law firms, regulatory bodies, foundations, and regional institutions are all potential co-hosts. If you are considering what this could look like for your organisation — we want to hear from you.
